How do I request designs?
Once subscribed, you'll be added to a Trello board for [Your Brand] x DesignTap. This is where you can add all of your design requests and track the progress of your designs.
Invite your team and add as many requests as you like to your board in priority order.
What is a typical design request?
A design request can be anything from "design a landing page for a marketing campaign" or "create a brand identity for our premium soft drink" to "make our iOS app interface more usable". No design request is too big or small.
How long does it take to get my designs?
Most design requests are completed within 72 working hours (Mon-Fri, UK time). However, for larger requests such as multi-page websites, apps or complex packaging, it may take longer.
What if I don't know what I need exactly?
No problem - that's when DesignTap is most helpful.
James is most experienced at finding solutions to your user's problems, rather than simply designing something specific. A great request starts with the problem(s) you're trying to solve and considerations to take into account.

What if I'm not happy with a design?
Not to worry - every design comes with unlimited revisions. Share your feedback and it'll be revised until you're happy.
Who's doing the design?
Almost all product design requests are completed by James. Most packaging, document or branding requests will be completed by Ben, a senior graphic designer.
What tools do you work with?
We almost always work in Figma.
Why should I use DesignTap instead of hiring?
Hiring a designer is time consuming, expensive and inflexible. Most startups need the skills of a senior designer, but at a £70k+ salary, it's hard to justify the cost year-round.
DesignTap is an ultra-flexible way of getting access to top tier design and product, without committing to a contract.
What if I have a one-off project?
No problem. We'd recommend starting with the Standard Plan (or Pro if the project is large and urgent) and cancelling after a month or two once the project is complete.
I already have designers. Does that matter?
Not necessarily. DesignTap is often used to work with other designers in collaboration or following existing design systems.
